Protecting the Family?

Winnie Foster admitted today in court that she saw Mae tuck hit the stranger with the gun. Winnie then stated that she believes Mae did it to protect the secret, Winnie then went on to reveal the secret. Now that the secret has been revealed after Winnie admitted to witnessing the crime, how do you think this information is going to help the lawyers prove their case? How has this information affected your decision of the case?

  1. It will help the denfense because the secret example about the land and the land is the key to proof Mae Tuck not guilty

  2. I think it will help the defense side because the secret is out and Winnie said Mae Tuck hit the stranger to protect the family. The defense lawyers can now prove that Mae Tuck is innocent because the secret is out.

  3. I Think that it helped Since The Secret of the Tucks came out of Winnie... The secret can now help both Prosecution and Defense.

  4. I think it help the Defense side because after Winnie Foster tell the srcret, the Defense side could prove that Mae Tuck is innocent because the stranger knows the secret, and trying to sell the water that makes the Tucks live forever. If everyone know that theres a kind of water that could make you live forever, there will be something bad happen.

  5. I think it will help the defense side in their case and hurt the prosecution because now that Winnie told the secert it shows why she assaulted the stranger for Winnie but also her family and the secert. Now the stranger couldn't get the water of youth.

  6. I think that it will help the defense side because now that they know the secret they have nothing to hide and can tell the jury what the stranger wants in return. If the stranger is really a nice guy then why did he threatened the Tucks? So in order to protect her family and Winnie as well she assaulted the stranger.

  7. This information helped the prosecution side and the defense side. It helped the prosecution because Winnie herself in court said that she saw Mae Tuck assault the stranger. It helped the defense because they now have have a chance to prove the stranger was behind all this and not Mae Tuck. Depending on what side of the case got the most help from the secret that side will most likely win.

  9. I think it helped the defense side because since Winnie told the secret then the defense can prove that Mae Tuck didn't hit the stranger because she wanted to. She assaulted the stranger to protect her family and the secret of the water. If people knew about the water, then they would want to drink it and then everyone will live forever. That is really bad. This information affected my decision because now I believe that Mae Tick is not guilty.

  10. After Winnie Foster said the secret to everyone, and that Winnie said that she has saw that Mae had assault the stranger which means she is guilty. If Mae tuck didnt mean to hit the stranger, and that even winnie had seen it. so are we going to let a person to have freedom, and in to the world and to be free to do te same craim again?

  11. I think Winnie revealing the secret is a good sigh for the defense and a bad thing to the prosecuting side. Its better for the defense because know they have a better chance of proving to the jury that Mae Tuck is innocent and not guilty.

  12. I think that the defense has a better chance of proving this case because winnie revealed the secret to the courtroom. Now the defense has a better chance of winning the trial. Winnie also admitted that Mae tuck assaulted the stranger.

  13. I think that the secret is revealed that it helped the prosucution side because still there was no need of Mae Tuck killing the stranger.I think that Mae tuck actually just protected the secret maybe the man in the yellow suit just wanted to tell the secret to the world. Maybe if they did not take winnie and let her drink the water maybe the yellow suit man would never meet the Tucks, and learn there secret, and then died

  14. My opinion is that both sides are getting helped by the secret because we know for sure that its going to help the defense because now they have a reason to asualt the stranger but still she shouldnt have done that yes we also no if mae tuck didnt asualt the stranger the secret will let out and who knows what would happen this will help the prosecution side because winnie addmitted that she was kiddnapped when she said she felt as if she was being kiddnapped and because she also addmitted that she saw mae tuck assualt the stranger

  15. I think that the lawyers has a better chance of proving the case because Winnie has more proof of the crime. This has affected the decision of the case because Winnie might know something that the rest of the court room does'nt know.

  16. I agree with Juror 3, that the lawyers has better chance to proving of the crime, because each side can tell if Mae Tuck is guilty or not.
For the prosecution, Winnie admitted that Mae Tuck assault the stranger, because they want to prove Mae Tuck is guilty and assaulting is murdering and that is bad so that proves she is guilty, so that helps the Prosecution, and for the defense the secret helped the, because they can prove that she is guilty and I agree with Juror 23, because she has the same reason why for the defense. So that's why the lawyers have a better chance to proving for their side.

  17. It will help the defense side because now they can prove that Mae Tuck is innocent because she didn't want to assault the stranger. The stranger was about to let out the secret and Mae Tuck want to protect secret and her family. That is why Mae Tuck assaulted the stranger. That will prove Mae tuck innocent. If the secret was out the whole world was going to change.

  19. i think Mae Tuck hit the stranger with the shoot gun just to protect the family or she don't want people to know the secret then go to the spring and drink the water so that person will live forever.
