Did Winnie go on her own free will?

On Monday Winnie testified that she had gone with the Tuck's on her own free will. When the defense asked Winnie if she had gone on with the Tuck's she had said yes, then the prosecution stated that had she not gone on her own free will, Winnie could have yelled for help when she saw the stranger. Does this theory prove that Winnie went on her own with the Tuck's? Support your answer with facts and information from the trial.

  1. I think that Winnie did not go on her own free will because she saw the stranger and she could have called out for help but didn't. Gradma Foster said that Winnie was quiet at home and she behaved. I think that Winnie, was scared and she didn't scream out for help.

  3. I think Winnie did go on her free will because when she saw the stranger she could've screamed out for help but she didn't. Even though Grandma Foster said she was a quiet girl and she behaved, Winnie said that she ranaway from her home cause they were over protective and didn't give her enough freedom. She also said that when she saw the stranger that she could've scream for help but she choose not to.

  4. Winnie did go on her own free will because she had a chance to scream and she didn't. PLUS just because her grandmother says that she is shy and quiet doesn't mean that Winnie really is. The only person who would know if Winnie is truly who her grandmother says she is, is Winnie herself.

  7. I think Winnie didn't went on her free will because in the book it said she was about to drink water from the spring and the Tucks just grabbed her and took her away. Before in the book they have never met so they were strangers to her so who would go with strangers. Winnie was saying she went on her own will because now they were friends that's why.

  8. I think that winnie choose to go with the tucks or she went on her free will because when they were passing teh stranger on the horse winnie did not scream for help. she did not scream for help because she did not like her family and did not want to go back sos that proves that she went on her free will. I disagree with juror 5 because in the mocktrial she said she was shy in some cases but not in all cases.

  10. I think Winnie went with the Tucks on her own will, because even though her grandma said that Winnie is a quiet and behaved girl, she still could scream for help when the Tucks stop ans saw the stranger, but she didnt. Also Winnie want to run away, because her parent is too over protective and they dont give her freedom.

  11. Yes Winnie did go on her own free will because Winnie herself said that she could of yelled for help when she saw the stranger but she did not. Also Winnie could of gone home back to her own family but she did not. Even Winnie herself said that she went on her own will. We have Winnie Foster's testimony to prove that she went on her own free will.

  16. I think that she didn't went on her own will because, even though the Tucks were nice people and explained why they kinapped her, that's still is kidnapping. So Winnie Foster was kidnapped. I'm sorry to say, but there was proof that proves that Winnie Foster were kidnapped by the Mae Tucks. So the prosecution was right she didn't go in her own wil and should have called for help from the stranger.

  18. No because when Winnie answer is that she was being carry alway which means kidnapping. Also i agree with juror 5. Winne is a shy girl at home and to be screaming help it has to be very hard for a girl to behaved in a way she is not use to. And Winne did ran away but by doing so she got kidnapped.
