Is the land the key?

The testimony was given that the stranger wanted the Tuck's land in exchange for the whereabouts of Winnie. How does this testimony help or hurt the prosecutions side? What does it prove about the stranger use information from the testimony given in court and facts to support your answer.

  1. This could hurt the prosecuting side because then there might be a chance that Mae Tuck could be innocent. I think that the stranger is hiding something against the Foster family that he didn't tell them. I think that is why he wants the land in trade for Winnie.

  2. I say that the land is the key because the whole problem started by the stranger wanting to take Winnie to get the land I say it helped the prosecution side because Mae Tuck could of discuss the whole problem instead of assaulting him which lead to his death.

  3. Yes, the stranger did want the land in exchange for Winnie and I think that it hurted the prosecution side because why should the stranger want something from the Foster to get their child back safely. PLUS, the stranger didn't want the father to go. Why? Well maybe he is hiding something. GUILTY I SAY!

  4. I Think The Stranger Wanted The Land in Trade for Winnie Because the land has the fountain in it which did help the prosection in the guilt of Mae Tuck

  5. It hurts the prosecuting side because that is where the spring water is.And if the stranger had goten the spring that would be bad for the tucks.

  6. I think that Mae Tuck is looking sort of innocent because during the trial the defendant lawyers asked Winnie, if the stranger was a nice man. Winnie said that she thought he was nice at first but then she didn't think he was so nice after all. He wanted to help the Foster's by bringing Winnie home but really he was just helping him all along. So I think it hurt the prosecution side.

  7. The land will hurt the prosecution side because the defence would prove that the stranger is a bad man for blackmailing and doing nothing when he saw her and knew her. That would make the jury think that it is the stranger's fault not Mae's. Winnie also said that the stranger was not a nice man which also tells the jury that its the staranger's fault more than Mae's.

  8. This testimony hurts the prosecution side because when they knew that in the land there was the spring of the water it would go to the lawyers and then they will know why mae tuck assulted the stranger, because he wanted the spring and mr.colletti, is it the tucks land or the fosters land ?

  10. It will hurt the prosecution side,
because it gives a reason why Mae Tuck to kill the stranger, and show that they are black mailing her

  11. I think that hurt the presecution side, because i think the land started the whole problem, because if the stranger didnt trade with the Fosters to get Winnie back, Mae Tuck won't assault the stranger.

  12. I agree with juror 10,the spring is also part of the land, maybe when he have the land, maybe he will also drink the water so he will be alive for ever like the Tuck's .

  13. I think it hurt the prosecution because if the stranger got the FOSTER'S land he would also own the spring. Which gives Mae Tuck a reason to assault the stranger. Also, what else was the stranger going to do with the land. He only wanted the land to black male the Tucks and put their family in jeopardy. So I think it hurt the prosecution.

  16. It hurts the prosecutoin side because the land is why the stranger started hunting the tucks. If the stanger didn't try to find the tuck he shouldn't be died or get assaulted.

  17. The testimony hurt the prosecution lawyer because,Winnie Foster almost proved that Mae Tuck is innocent because, of the defendant's side. It proves that the stranger is a mean person who tricked Winnie, and want him to be prove innocent and Mae Tuck proven guilty because, he is a tricky person and sayed bad things about the Tucks, and proberbly want to take revange of the Tucks.

  18. it hurt the prosecution lawyers because the land stared the whole thing if the yellow suit man went looking for the tucks then there will be no assaulted
